"For as long as I can remember I've loved cars, probably since I was given my first Hot Wheels car. Photography was always something fun to do as a kid on family vacations. It wasn't until a high school photography class that a real interest surfaced."

That interest led to a degree from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara. After graduating, Jason moved back to Los Angeles and pursued jobs in automotive and travel photography. His work has appeared in brochures, billboards, and on internet sites for manufacturers such as Mazda, Infiniti, Honda, Nissan and Mercedes Benz. In AutoWeek, Car and Driver, Automobile MC2, Car Kulture Deluxe, and Ol'Skool Rodz magazines, as well as photographing events which have included Concours On Rodeo, Palos Verdes Concours d'elegance, Los Angeles Grand Prix and Vintage Races, Mercedes Benz of Beverly Hills Classics For Charity, and The Art Center Car Classic.

"While looking at locations for shooting cars, I started to notice my surroundings more and more. A spot that would not work for whatever reason for car photography had a beauty all of its own."This realization led to photographing landscapes and scenics, and soon, relaxing vacations led to lengthy excursions to find the perfect viewpoint at just the right time of day.

Jason lives with his wife and son in West Hills, California and if he's not taking a picture of something, you'll probably find him out driving, at a car show or on a walk with their Bernese Mountain Dog, Hank.
